Every wonder whos ur boyfriend? Now you can know whos ur boyfriend.
Weekly Website Wednesday: Sexual Lobster
This week’s website is another YouTube channel.
Sexual Lobster, or Chris Voigt, is an Australian animator who makes crazy, surreal videos.
My favourite of his characters is Fernando the Manwhore, who has adventures on the mystical Pleasure Island.
Randy, head of yogurt acquisition, comes in a close second.
Weekly Website Wednesday: Gary Restores Hoggle
This week’s website is Gary Restores Hoggle.
I don’t really have much to say about it. It’s just one of my favourite creepy things on the internet, is all.
Weekly Website Wednesday: Maria Lombide Ezpeleta
I was digging around in my thousands of bookmarks, when I rediscovered the website for this week.
I discovered Spanish artist Maria Lombide Ezpeleta way back when The Lord of the Rings movies were coming out. I was digging around the internet for more information about Middle Earth, when I found a gallery of a bunch of Tolkien fanart. Maria’s art stuck out to me, because it was so different from everybody else’s. I find her use of colour and exaggerated anatomy very striking.
Warning: some of her art contains naked people, if that’s the kind of thing that bugs you for some reason.
Weekly Website Wednesday: Scorpion Dagger
This week’s website is a a tumblr. Boo. Hiss. SJW bogeyman grrrrrr…
Scorpion Dagger, or James Kerr, uses Renaissance paintings, mostly of a religious nature, to make wacky, irreverent animated GIFs. If you ever wanted to see Jesus and the apostles getting turnt, he’s your man. Most of his GIFs loop pretty well, too, which is always the Holy Grail of GIFs. Some of the GIFs even feature the Holy Grail.
It’s pronounced with a hard G, by the way, and don’t you ever forget it.
Weekly Website Wednesday: Jin Wicked
I really like supporting others, so I’ve decided to feature a new website of stuff that I like in a big ole link in my sidebar every week.
The first thing I’d like to feature is the art of Jin Wicked. I’ve followed her very funny autobiographical webcomics for many years now and I think you’d enjoy them to. She’s been trying to get back into being a full-time artist and the more eyes on her stuff, the better.
