I, myself have never tried bum wine, but I am fascinated by the world of bum wine.
Weekly Website Wednesday: Stack Overflow
I use Stack Overflow to work out programming problems every day. In fact, I have about 10 tabs open to Stack Overflow right now.
Weekly Website Wednesday: WizMUD
Remember MUDs (Multi-User Dungeons)? Well, WizMUD is a multi-user dungeon where you get to be a wizard and do zany magic things. It’s kinda fun and it runs in your browser so you can have it open in a tab to switch to when the boss isn’t looking.
Weekly Website Wednesday: The Lost Media Wiki
The Lost Media Wiki is a wiki that compiles what information that can be found about the existence of various media that have disappeared off the face of the planet.
It’s a useful resource to confirm that weird things from your youth, that only you remember, did, in fact, exist. I was really happy to learn that a cartoon from when I was little, The Bush Baby, actually existed and wasn’t just a fever dream. But then I was sad that there is no trace of the English dub to be found anywhere. Not even a clip.
If you want to help them out, check out what exists on old VHS tapes and magazines and such in your basement.
Weekly Website Wednesday: Classic Reload
Classic Reload is a website that lets you play Dos, Commodore 64 and Sega Genesis/MegaDrive games in your browser, so that you can just play right away and not have to worry about fiddling with settings.
You can play some of my favourites, such as: Moraff’s World, Donald Duck’s Playground, Hugo’s House of Horrors, Cosmo’s Cosmic Adventure, Dracula in London, Crosscountry Canada, Mario Brothers VGA, Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing, and ETC!
